Miley Cyrus has officially hit back at the reaction to her VMAs performance. If you have lived in an Amish Community for the last couple of weeks, you can recap the debacle here.
I may be alone in this, but what I saw at the VMAs was an attractive, slightly misguided kid reveling in their fame and hotness, and who are we to deny her that? Conservative TV personality Dr. Laura Schlessinger certainly does not approve, calling Miley:
a disgusting little pig…a little miss piece of crap.
Uh, that’s just mean. You don’t have to like her, but really, Schlessinger? You preach moral judgement about the VMAs? No Candy Canes for you. Miley ain’t taking no crap from anybody, even talk radio hosts that look like Cult leaders, Dr Laura.

Good advice. If Miley Cyrus paid attention to all of the negative press about her, she’d have to hide in a soundproofed bunker back in Montanta until her fragile pscyhe knitted itself whole again. I don’t blame her for flipping the bird to her detractors:
People are still talking about it. They’re over thinking it. You’re thinking about it more than I thought about it when I did it. Like, I didn’t even think about it ’cause that’s just me.
Madonna’s done it. Britney’s done it. Every VMA performance, that’s what you’re looking for; you’re wanting to make history.
